Friday we had our usual walk with Randy and Sue and then went to Randy's local range to try our hand at using up Randy's reloads. In Georgia, shooting is one of those things that most everyone does and brother Randy fits right in. He has a nice assortment of the tools of the trade and we tried to use most of them.
I was impressed with how accurate large caliber hand guns really are, able to hit a target at 50 yards pretty regularly.
We had a good time. The bonus was I decided to ride the Harley to the Range, it is about 30 miles, but I managed to stretch it into an 80 mile ride. I rode to Macon to stop at the Harley dealer to get a $18 light bulb, but the weather was just perfect...nice ride.
We came home showered and then headed to Sue and Randy's local Mexican hangout, La Cabana's. There we met up with a some of Randy's co-workers and had dinner. It was very good.
Then we all went back to Randy's for a bon fire
.
Good Times..Good People...
It was another nice day, awesome weather. Today we plan to hike Stone Mountain to get a bit of exercise.
We have been leisurely filling the days with lots of fun. Sue and Randy are the perfect hosts. Randy also got out the telescope out and the night was clear and full of stars/planets. The bonfire was a bonus.
