Since we attended the 75th Anniversary of Sturgis, we felt compelled to attend the 75th Anniversary of Daytona Bike week. We have been to Daytona, but never bike week, so we don't know quite what to expect but are looking forward to it. It is a long way to drive and tow your motorcycle for just a few days, so of course we are going to combine the trip with visiting a few friends and family along the way. I created a map of all our potential stops and it is surprising how many friends and family we do have along the east coast. We obviously can't visit them all but hope to see more than a few.
Now we have to get serious about making a plan, getting out our RV and loading the Harley. Our winter in the Northeast has been mild to say the least, Lake Champlain froze for the first time this winter last weekend.
Time to go shine up the Harley......
Hoping for warm temps and plenty of sunshine; should our friends here in the north get snow - good for them. This is probably the earliest we have ridden the motorcycle. Cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteI must ask, do you have friends who live on a houseboat off the coast of South Carolina?
ReplyDeleteGabe, We have friends that are renting a place for the month of March on Myrtle Beach...
DeleteIt seems Gabe is actually looking at the map!
DeleteHave a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you, not as exciting as your trips but we always have fun!
DeletePacking, cleaning, packing, cooking, packing......am I forgetting anything?
